The Society for the Promotion of Skin-Tolerant Textiles is a registered society. Among the members are the Gesamtverband der deutschen Maschenindustrie, the Institute for Textile Research and Process Engineering Denkendorf as well as renowned companies from the textile and clothing industry.

The offer of the Society for the Promotion of Skin-Tolerant Textiles primarily addresses the manufacturers of textiles which come in contact with the body such as. Closely worn clothing or home textiles, homewear.

For the testing of the textiles the Society commissions an independent testing institute. Renowned partner therefore is the testing institute of the ITV Denkendorf Product Service Ltd. which is accredited by the DAP (German Accreditation System for Testing) After successful testing the Registered Society awards certificates.
