Seal of Approval

Label for hygienically immaculate textiles

The seal of approval "medically tested and tested for toxins" labels skin-tolerant textiles from which no substances are released when in contact with skin, that irritate the skin or could damage body's health.

Conditions for awarding of the seal of approval:

• Passing the skin tolerance test
  The cells may not be damaged through the contact with transferring substances.
• Compliance with the limit of the toxin test:
  All statutory limits for toxins in textiles must be under the limit.

After successful testing and the corresponding declaration of conformity of the producer, the Society for the Promotion of Skin-Tolerant Textiles awards the seal of approval.
