FKT label: Award for body-compatible textiles

Double tested safety

You will find the FKT label „MEDICALLY TESTED – TESTED FOR TOXINS“ on textiles that have passed FKT’s strict body compatibility tests. These textiles do not release any substances that could irritate or damage the skin. The FKT label provides more safety for your skin.

Conventional tests for harmful substances test textiles for certain well-known substances but don’t examine the effects that these chemicals may have on the skin while wearing the textile products.

FKT’s body compatibility tests close this gap. They have been developed by strict scientific standards and many of the leading brand manufacturers use them to assure their quality.

Therefore, when you buy textiles, ask for the FKT label.

Benefits for consumers

As consumers and buyers of textiles carrying the FKT label „MEDICALLY TESTED – TESTED FOR TOXINS“ you benefit from the responsibility our member companies have accepted for the quality of their products and also for your health.

The FKT label on a textile product represents proof that your skin will not be irritated or damaged by substances that may be released. This means: More safety for your skin, more protection for you and your family, and the environment.

Benefits for manufacturers

As a manufacturer of high-quality textiles, you can prove your quality standards with this scientific certification and create trust with your end customers.

The continuous improvement and optimisation of your products gives you a technological advantage and a competitive edge.
